don't you see I'm fast asleep
memory is lulling
in songs from the hidden deep
carry me away from this foggy shore
share with me the message
and reveal the secret lore
tell me how shall i ever find
favor in the court of the Divine
please don't mislead me
i know I'm insincere
knowledge can remove
this ignorance and drear
awaken me from my condition
with the truth this life does bring
and to this path i shall ever cling
